My brother is in the Airforce. Beginning of January he left for Afghanistan. He was on leave in December and had to fly back to his base December 21st. I drove him to the airport along with my Dad. Golly that was super sad and hard to do. (I just re-read all of that and it sounded so factual. Whoops) I attempted to take some pictures of him before he left but, like most guys, he wasn't too pleased. I am really thrilled I got what I did because it has resulted in these scrappy pages:

Fortunately, via the wonderful interweb, I talk to him about once a week. Ironically that is more than I talked to him when we were living in the same house years ago!
